When this article was published in an Indian newspaper "The Statesman", a huge mob of around a few thousand muslims went on a rampage demanding that action be taken against the publisher for "offending" their religious sentiments.

This was subsequently followed by a repsonse from Johann explaining why it would be a crime for him to apologize to the rioting islamic zealots in India.

It is so sad that a country which claims to be secular does everything and anything to pamper and mollycoddle a violent minority!

It is amusing to see the "national outrage" that the Mangalore pub incident created while this blatant violation against freedom of speech was conviniently ignored by our "secular" english language media.
