India under threat

I had come across some articles clearly showing the grave threat posed to India by evagelical Christianity.

"Other than the fact that he is the Chief Minister`s son-in-law, Opposition parties feel there is more to Anil Kumar`s sudden exposure to the public. The publicity overdrive since December has coincided with the state government`s spat with another self-styled evangelist K A Paul, founder of Gospel to Unreached Millions and Global Peace Initiative. Paul publicly accused the Chief Minister of being vindictive because he did not provide funds for his elections and was, therefore, being denied funds for various charity organisations."

"Very few people were aware of who Anil Kumar was till hundreds of huge hoardings, welcoming people to his 'Grand Christmas celebrations', sprung up all over the twin cities of Hyderabad-Secunderabad.
After it was revealed that Anil Kumar was the chief minister's son-in-law, the TDP and BJP demanded an inquiry into the source of funding for such large-scale publicity, insisting that ill gotten money was being used to promote the Evangelist.
While Anil Kumar avoided the media, YSR quipped, "What is wrong in it," when asked about the publicity machinery being used to promote his son-in-law."

"As reported in media, Andhra Pradesh government has brought Christian institutions into the decision making body of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) and its institutions. JRG Wealth Management, a Christian organisation has been employed for Prasadam materials for use in Tirupati temple. And there are apprehensions of evangelists’ design to build a church at Tirumala."

"Christian council official Prabhu Kumar demanded increased seats for Christians in sate legislature and parliament to protect the community’s interests. He said according to official statistics Christians in the state are only 9 percent of the population but in reality they number around 19 percent."

This is a shocking piece of information!! Leads credence to the theory that the government pursposely falsifies census data so as not to scare the general public. Another reason could be that the people deliberately do not mention their conversion so that they still get reservation benefits. Nevertheless, it is proof that Christianity is nothing but an imperialistic religion where gaining power is one of the main features in their agenda. In my previous posts I have mentioned how buddhists in Korea suffer once the christians gained political power. This is a fate that awaits hindus as well unless they take immediate measures to stop conversions.

Recently, I found this information somewhere on the net and has excellent information for people skeptical of the blatant anti-hindu pro-minority AP Chief Minister.

"There are always allegations about the missionary zeal of the Christian Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.Samuel Rajasekhara Reddy or commonly known as YSR. But many times due to absence of hard evidence, these are often discarded as nothing more than chest-thumping.

For people who believe only in "evidences" here it is. its a collection of all the Government Orders (GO) by the Government of AP allotting funds to various Churches in AP. source of information is no secret either. It is the online portal of Govt of AP listing all the GOs it issued (the government portals are treasure houses of information; you just have to know how to dig out what you need).
You can see the data in this page:

The following is the summary of the data from that sheet:

1. The GO portal is active only from February 2008, hence the data given is only of 1 year (ie., Feb 2008 to Jan 2009). Note that although vast, it is by no means comprehensive (ie., I have shown Govt 263.07 lakhs to Christian institutions. This amount is the minimum spent on them, not the maximum).
2. But even for a single year, an amount of 263.07 lakhs was given as aid to various Christian institutions.
3. More than 258 churches benefited from these grants for construction/renovation of churches.
4. An amount of 1316.54 lakhs was given as aid to various Muslim institutions through Wakf boards.
5. Not a single GO granting any aid to a Hindu temple can be found. This in spite of the fact that in AP, the Hindu temples are managed by the Endowments Ministry (put it simply they take all the money which the temples generate).
6. Govt takes away all the money which Hindu temples generate, but do not grant a single penny to any of its temples. It does not touch the money from Christian and Muslim institutions, but grants them huge amounts of money."

Another very good post by the person who discovered the information above, is on the myth of missionary charity,

"Even if Missionaries are converting people by wrong means, how does it matter. Will a hungry person care for food or religion? Why do Hindus cry foul at Missionaries when they are helping the people. So what if they ask the ppl to convert to Christianity in return?"

This is the most common argument you hear in any discussion about the activities of Christian Missionaries. I have already discussed the national and moral implication of conversions earlier. In this topic I will try to focus on myth of Missionary Charity.

As they say, one fact talks louder than thousand opinions. So I will try to give more of facts, figures and media references. Let the facts speak for themselves.

This is a must read to dispell any misinformation that one may have on missionary charity.
